Why the title ” Worst Web Hosting Companies You Should not buy during Black Friday 2018″ when everyone else focus only on writing about “best web hosting deals 2018”.
As you know once in every year Black Friday Sale for bloggers brings very huge discount offers upto 90% on almost all product categories – Hosting, SEO Tools, Themes, Plugins etc, just like how you get the offers for other physical products.
|Bluehost India||A2 Hosting|
|Hostgator India||Hostgator (US)|
It’s the perfect time of the year, for someone who’ve been eagerly expecting if there’ll be any discounts from hosting and or from internet marketing companies so that bloggers can make use of it buying products at much less cost than usual, saving hard earned money!
There are hundreds of newbie bloggers or business owners who wants to start their first blog to make money online or to keep it run online business or just to have their web presence.
Often, newbie bloggers ends up following some Pro Bloggers, Once they read nicely written tutorials, they become followers and easily get influenced to make purchasing decision of what they’re recommended without doing own research.
While we’ve both genuinely “caring for their readers” type & “anything to just make money” type, it’s the users who get trapped or end up buying less reliable product with poor customer care experience when they follow later type.
This post is just to create awareness among newbies who’re just starting out in blogging not to fall prey with worst web hosting companies.
What are the Worst Web Hosting Companies ?
First of all i would like to mention that i’m writing this after having used the service myself, not just writing without trying the hosting services,
- Bluehost India
- Hostgator India
The main reason for ranking them in companies you should not consider buying are,
- Slow Performing server
- Unreliable : So many downtime
- Poor Support: I used to wait for hours to get connected to hostgator live chat support, same for Bluehost too.
These are the 5 hosting providers you should not go with for hosting your blog or website. Not to mention you may have seen at least one of their ads on social media or search or video or on any other sites.
BlueHost India is not same as Bluehost US, so don’t go by just the brand name, Bluehost US has some of the best hosting infrastructure, improved servers.
When you purchase Bluehost India hosting, the dashboard or back end access are not the same, in fact it looks like a reseller account, i heard from someone from India, that Bluehost don’t own servers here, they hire and use 3rd party company’s white label accounts.
The site i had with them really took ages to load, even the cPanel was not quick to respond when we try to access.
Customer care support is not the top notch as well, many of the executives i’ve had interacted with had lack of technical knowledge in providing customers the support they need while facing issues.
The Best Hosting Providers You Hear are the Real Worst Companies
Take for example , most of the so called pro bloggers promote bluehost, hostgator, justhost, interserver which are all owned by same company EIG, that’s not a matter here but the fact of the matter is all of them are having low performance servers, poor support.
Many of these big names in the blogosphere do these hosting recommendations based on the affiliate commission they get from these companies.
There are different tiers of commission structure offered by these companies, and sometime you can demand the highest commission from them, because you’ve the high traffic of right audience base and they’ll get the sales, you get the commission.
That’s how it works.
Other thing many of the customers from the above said brands complaining on number of sites per server.
If you’re signing up for shared hosting, then hundreds of websites are put to run from a single server and you never know about who run the sites, what niche they run whether its legal or illegal sites.
What are the Best Hosting Companies then ?
Okay, So which hosting company provide reliable hosting service ? Who can i trust since everyone is offering huge discount and being marketed as best hosting provider. Sigh..
From my experience, I would boldly Recommend following companies not just because i’ve had no bad experience, but because they’ve resolved every issues ver well that would have been a terrible if its on other hostrars,
A2 Hosting has been my best hosting provider since 2015, never had a bad experience would be first on my list if they improve quick live chat support, the best thing about A2 Hosting company is that the blazing fast performance of the server, you would really see the web page loads so faster.
That’s what i felt after moving from bluehost to a2hosting back in 2015.
When it comes to speed, A2hosting ranks on top.
Siteground hosting, i assume you may have heard about this company already, they don’t advertise they’re providing cheapest hosting service, their target audience or customers are totally different, mostly businesses or startups just getting started,
Support – they’re very serious about customers, team knows what they’re doing, when we end up in issues with wordpress while doing some updates, the result would be the site would not load up. They handle it so well, that i never had to create ticket, everything was solved while i was in live chat. Of course it depends on what issues you’ll face, still the effort & the technical knowledge the team has is wide.
You may be wondering about the list, where comes Namecheap a domain name registrar come into the best hosting companies list ?
It was surprising for me in the beginning as well, when i tried Namecheap hosting which i bought during black friday sale because of huge discounts for $0.98/m, i had moved one of my site from Bluehost to just try how it handle the traffic & if the servers are as fast as bluehost. But end up seeing better site loading speed, so i kept running on it for few years. So don’t just go by the myth that a domain name provider can’t provide best hosting experience.
Well, you may not have heard about NameCheap’s awesome support for hosting services, their support team even went an extra step for me to not get my site down because of peak traffic. Would be posting a separate review on NameCheap Hosting.
Same with asmallorange too, live support keeps you waiting before you get connect, and the support is not that great too. But the thing is server performance, website issues , downtime is very less with asmallorange.com.
So these are the webhosting companies i’ve personally used since 2012, as i’ve already mentioned in my other post, i started with bluehost, then to hostgator.
